Glassware

Dishwasher and microwave safe only if:

  1. glass products are not produced in conjunction with brass, steel, or other metals.
  2. glass products have not been incorporated with metallic design motifs (using gold, platinum, metallic liquidus, lustre colours, etc.) or banded with such metallic products.

 

Dinnerware; Flatware

Metal banding designs on wares (gold or platinum banding on porcelain wares) are susceptible to dull and cloudy appearance in prolonged usage of the dishwasher. It is strongly advised to use hand washing.

Flatware without metallic bandings or metallic (gold or platinum) motifs can be used regularly in the dishwasher.

Dinnerwares are only microwave safe if (1) there is no decoration or banding on the ware and/or (2) if the ware is not in combination with metal apparatus or objects.

 

Lead Crystal

Not dishwasher safe.

Not microwave safe.

Care should be taken not to be in contact with acidic agents.

Use mild detergent and hand wash the products. Dry them immediately to prevent watermarks from forming.

 

Metal products (steel, brass, etc.)

Metal products (steel, brass, etc.) in various formats of stained, coated, nickel-plated, brass plated, polished, or enamelled.

Care should be taken in washing. Not dishwasher safe. Solving agents such as ammonia, or whitening agents are forbidden for cleaning purposes. Mild detergent should be used and only in hand wash mode. Immediately dry the product after washing.

 

Acidic agents, e.g. lemon, mayonnaise, egg, etc., might affect oxidization of the surface. Extensive, or prolonged, use of such reactive agents is not recommended. In the temporary use of such reactive agents, it is advisable to put a thin layer of vegetable oil on the surface of the product to act as a barrier in preventing the product surface to be chemically attached by acidic agents.

 

Similar to other metallic objects, it is unsafe to use these products in the microwave.

 

Use of rough or coarse cleaning objects, e.g., cloth, sponge, wool, etc., would damage the surface (for example in form of scratch) or creates a dull or cloudy appearance.

 

Marble products

Marble products in combination with metal objects or instruments (nickel, brass, steel, or other metals

 

Marble products in combination with metals (in formats of coat, polishing, stain, nickel plate, brass plate, enamel, etc.).

Furniture: Tray and nested tables

Trays are not dishwasher safe.

Do not use detergent or whitening agents (such as bleach, etc.) for cleaning the surface of trays and tables.

Use a damped soft cloth for cleaning and dry immediately.
